Nisrin Aziz is a writer & filmmaker who’s been practicing the art of selling ideas since 2007, and has since founded The Fictionary, a film production house and idea studio based out of India.
With a background in Wildlife & Conservation, Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communication, Culture Studies, Literature, Psychology and Filmmaking across her education and career, she promotes the intention of sustaining ideas for positive change among artists within the independent, advertising and mainstream film communities worldwide.
Nisrin’s body of work includes reporting for The Hindu & Vijay Times newspapers, music videos like Raja Kumari’s Bindis and Bangles (2020) and Kiss Nuka’s Don’t Be Afraid (2019), feature length films like What Are The Odds (2019), Fitoor (2016) found on Netflix and award winning advertisements like Ariel’s Share the Load (2016) to name a few.
She currently lives between Bangalore and Mumbai, India.

With special focus on sustainable consumption and production of ideas, using creative therapy, concept-consciousness and jam sessions as tools for inspiration, their work over the years has been a study of the specific aspects of culture, psychology and consumerism in media today.
Being one of the first ateliers to set up a remote-studio jam room for visual concept crafting, their experience has taken them into advertising and film jam rooms all over the world including India, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, South East Asia and USA.
